IntroductionThe information contained in this paper is extracted from the Graduate Employment Survey of 1997 to answer the following questions about P.C.Psych. graduates : -
II. Employment Situation in 1997
Out of 13 P.C.Psych. graduates, 8 responded to our survey, representing a response rate of 62%. Of these, 75% (or 6 graduates) were in full-time employment within six months of graduation. Another 25% (or 2 graduates) were still looking for full-time employment at the time of the survey in December 1997. (Table 1)

III. Time Taken to Secure Employment
Among those graduates who were in full-time employment, 75% secured their first job offer before the end of September. The percentage increased to 100% after October. (Figure 1)

IV. Employment Sectors
33% (or 2 graduates) of the P.C.Psych. graduates each were employed in commerce and industry and the community, social and personal services. 17% (or 1 graduate) each joined the civil service and the education sector. (Figure 2)

V. Basic Salary and Gross Income
The remuneration received by the 1997 P.C.Psych. graduates is shown in Table 2.

VI. Number of Full-Time Job Offers
Of those in full-time employment, all the graduates reported having received one job offer. (Figure 3)
