. IntroductionThe information contained in this paper is extracted from the Graduate Employment Survey of 1997 to answer the following questions about B.B.A. graduates: -
II. Employment Situation in 1997
Out of 23 B.B.A. graduates, 19 responded to our survey, representing a response rate of 83%. Of these, 100% (or 19 graduates) were in full-time employment within six months of graduation. Nil unemployment was reported. (Table 1)

III. Time Taken to Secure Employment
Among those graduates who were in full-time employment, 84% were able to secure their first job offer before the end of July. The percentage increased to 100% by the end of September. (Figure 1)
IV. Employment Sectors
Most (79% or 15 graduates) of the B.B.A. graduates were employed in the commerce and industry. The remaining 21% (or 4 graduates) joined the civil service. (Figures 2 & 3)

V. Basic Salary and Gross Income
In general, the average income of 1997 B.B.A. graduates was higher than that of their predecessors in the previous year. (Table 2)

VI. Number of Full-Time Job Offers
58% of the graduates in full-time employment had more than one job offer. 42% reported having received three to eight or more job offers. Same as last year, each B.B.A. graduate on average received 2.4 job offers. (Figure 4)
